Man steals dog, then messages about it on reddit

This video caught my attention this week. A man stole a couple’s greater Swiss mountain canine from an enclosed, locked canine run Dec. 6 in Forth Worth, Texas, according to a local Fox news station. He then posted about it on reddit saying he’d rescued the 10-month-old canine from the cold.

The couple got the canine back Thursday night through a meeting with reddit users at a Fort worth shopping center, according to Fox. police are still investigating.

Of course, posters on reddit were full of opinions about how you ought to never leave a canine outside. Others defended the couple, saying the Swissy is a breed that usually thrives in colder weather.

I can think of very few situations where it’s ok to steal someone’s dog. This is not one of them.

What do you think?
